Questions, answered
Does it work offline?
FoodLabel App is a web app, so it needs an internet connection to load your menu, print labels and save production counts. Most counters use the store's Wi-Fi; a phone hotspot makes a good backup.
Which label printers are supported?
Any printer your browser can print to. Most customers use a 2″-wide direct-thermal label printer connected by USB, network or Bluetooth. Install the printer's driver, set the paper size to match your labels once, and print straight from FoodLabel App. Menu labels are 2″ × 8″ and prep stickers are 2″ × 1″.
Can I use it on an iPad or Android tablet?
Yes. FoodLabel App runs in the browser on iPad, Android tablets, Windows PCs and Macs — there's nothing to install. On a tablet, print to any printer the device can reach, for example through AirPrint or the printer maker's print service app.
Can I get my data out?
Yes — your data belongs to you. Daily Production reports export to CSV for a single day or any date range, and you can bring your menu in from a CSV spreadsheet.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract. Cancel from the Billing page whenever you like and you won't be charged again.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. Your 14-day free trial includes every Pro feature and doesn't need a card. Add one only if you decide to keep going.
Who is responsible for what's on the label?
You are. FoodLabel App prints exactly what you enter — nutrition values, ingredients, allergens and advisories — so please check your labels against your recipes and the food-labeling rules that apply to you.
